46TH ANNUAL GALA
Hundreds of guests including
His Eminence,
Timothy Michael Cardinal Dolan,
Archbishop of New York,
will gather to support
Inner-City Scholarship Fund,
the
city’s leading non-profit organization dedicated to
providing tuition assistance to low-income students
attending Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of New York,
at its 46th Annual FRIENDS Gala on Tuesday,
May 9th from 6:30 PM– 10:00 PM
at Cipriani 42nd
Street
.
This year’s Gala Co-Chairs are
Regina Gannon,
Managing
Director at BlackRock;
Kalliope Karella, Author;
Enrica
Arengi Bentivoglio
and
Ana Diez de Rivera-Laffont.
This event will feature remarks by Cardinal Dolan, as well
as a performance by the talented students from
Cardinal
Spellman High School in the Bronx,
Notre Dame School in
Manhattan,
and St. Raymond Elementary School in the Bronx.
Proceeds from the event will benefit
Inner-City Scholarship Fund,
which
provides tuition assistance to over 8,500
students
(91% minority and 42% non-Catholic).
An astonishing
99% percent of seniors attending
inner-city Catholic high
schools graduate,
and 98% are accepted to colleges and
universities across the nation.
