RABIN MEDICAL CENTER UPDATE: As
the war continues to spread along both northern
and southern borders, Israel's Rabin
Medical Center, one of the largest and
best equipped ER & Trauma Centers in the
country, is a primary treatment center for
wounded civilians and soldiers alike.
URGENT EMERGENCY MEDICAL EQUIPMENT IS NEEDED TO
TREAT CASUALTIES & TRAUMA VICTIMS.
Recent terrorist attacks and rocket fire were
reported within southern and central Israel.
Casualties from a mortar attack near the
southern community of Nirim, close to the border
with the Gaza Strip are being treated at Rabin
Medical Center.
Doctors and Nurses from various departments at
the hospital are being assigned to work in the
ER, as the emergency center strives to keep up
with the number of casualties.
Dr. Felix Benninger, Deputy
Director of the Neurology department at Rabin
Medical Center, and past Rabin Medical Exchange
Fellow, said,
“All support is needed. We already have
three residents in the Army and every ward is
bleeding. The moral is high, but people are
scared and frightened and we need to promote
unity with all.”
