ABOUT TEAK: |
The TEAK Fellowship is a NYC-based nonprofit
organization that opens doors to educational and
enrichment opportunities for exceptional
high-achieving, low-income students. The free
10-year program of strong educational, social,
emotional and financial resource support for
students and families begins in 6th grade and
empowers students to access the most competitive
high schools and colleges in the US. On
average, over 30% of TEAK Fellows gain
acceptance to Ivy League schools each year. TEAK
is built on the premise that motivation and
potential and not economic circumstances should
determine a student’s future. The tremendous
return on investment is clear in the powerful
results reflected in the TEAK
