Legacy Community
Health Announces Little Readers Fiesta Honoring the Barbara
Bush Houston Literacy Foundation
Houston, TX –
Legacy Community Health is proud to announce the
Little Readers Fiesta on Sunday, May 4, 2025,
from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event,
hosted by Paige Fertitta at the Fertitta family’
beautiful River Oaks home, will celebrate a decade of
inspiring young readers and honor the Barbara Bush
Houston Literacy Foundation for its outstanding
contributions to literacy initiatives.
For the past 10
years, Legacy Community Health’s Little Readers
program has worked to ignite a love of reading in children.
Pediatric patients receive a free book at well-child visits
with a “prescription to read,” a simple yet impactful
initiative that has distributed nearly 300,000 books since
2015.
This year’s Little
Readers Fiesta will feature an inspiring evening of
celebration, fun, and recognition for the progress made in
advancing literacy over the past decade. All proceeds
benefit Legacy’s Little Readers program.
Sponsorships and
tickets will be available soon at https://legacy.community/fiesta
