Pia, her sisters, their brother Robertino, who lives in Paris with his wife, and their children are going to Sweden in early June for a memorial service for their late stepfather Lara Schmidt.  Lars was married to their mother, Ingrid Bergman.  The memorial service and scattering of his ashes will be on Lars’ private island off the coast of Sweden. 

While in Sweden, they will be visiting their mother’s relatives and Pia will interview Swedish writers and musicians for her program “Pia Lindstrom Presents” on Sirius Radio.

The guests at the dinner dined on salad, steak, salmon and Morton’s signature chocolate dessert.  Among the guests who attended were Pia’s husband Washington attorney Jack Carley; Pia’s sons Nicholas and Justin Daly; Sabine Singh; Marianne Castle and her son John S. Castle; Maria Cooper Janis and her husband Byron Janis; Judy Collins and her architect husband Louis Nelson; Joan Chorney, sister of the late Marvin Davis; Laura Montalban, Loretta Young’s niece and daughter of the late actor Ricardo Montalban; Anka Palitz, Podi Constantiner and New York real estate tycoon Mickey Palin.
