LEGACY COMMUNITY HEALTH’S
HOLIDAY SCHMOOZE:
A NIGHT OF FESTIVE GLAMOUR AND GIVING
BACK
Houston, Texas – December 23,
2024 – Since its founding by
acclaimed caterer Jackson Hicks, Legacy
Community Health’s Holiday Schmooze has
become one of the most anticipated
charitable fundraisers of the season.
Each year, a grand Houston home is
transformed into a stunning venue for an
unforgettable evening. This year,
Richard Holt generously opened the doors
to his North Boulevard residence, where
cars lined the street in anticipation of
the event raising over $125,000.
The Holiday Schmooze, which was filled
with festive fun, glittering glamour,
and seasonal cheer, stood out as a
beacon of philanthropy and community
spirit. Richard Holt’s home, beautifully
adorned with holiday decorations and
sparkling trees, provided the perfect
backdrop for an evening dedicated to a
meaningful cause. The house was lit up
with
holiday cheer.
Guests, many dressed in elegant holiday
attire, raised their glasses in a toast
to the end of the year and reveled in
the season’s merriment. Aptly named
"SCHMOOZE," this annual gathering is
more than just a party—it's a vital
opportunity to give back. Proceeds from
the event benefited The Jackson Hicks
Endowed Fund for the Awareness,
Prevention, and Treatment of HIV/AIDS at
Legacy Community Health, adding even
more significance to the festivities.
Legacy CEO Dr. Bobby Hilliard and Chief
Development Officer Chree Boydstun
welcomed the over 250 guests, who
enjoyed cocktails, bountiful buffet, and
the enchantment of the holiday season,
all while contributing to the fight
against HIV/AIDS. Their leadership and
warm hospitality ensured the event was a
success.
Among the distinguished guests in
attendance were Wanna Hadnott,
Chree Boydstun, Shannon Hall, Vivian
Wise, Tripp Carter, Hallie Vanderhider,
Bobby Dees, Richard Werner, Tony Bravo,
Kari Findley, and Ken Sill. Their
presence helped make the evening truly
unforgettable, leaving a lasting impact
on both the community and the cause.
