The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund
(OCRF) and L’ORÉAL
Paris
hosted the L’ORÉAL
Legends Gala. This
glamorous evening united the
beauty, fashion, finance and
media industries to raise
much-needed funds for ovarian
cancer research. The gala
included a cocktail reception
and luxury silent auction
produced by
Town&Country followed by
dinner and entertainment with a
performance by
internationally-acclaimed and
ground breaking virtuoso
violinist Vanessa-Mae.
Sherry Lansing, Founder
of the Sherry Lansing Foundation
and Board Member of "Stand Up to
Cancer", and Richard Baker,
Chief Executive Office of NRDC
Equity Partners werhonored with
the OCRF Legends Award.
OCRF Board Member Mindy Gray
and Jonathan Gray, Senior
Managing Director at The
Blackstone Group, received The
Liz Tilberis Humanitarian Award.
The event raised over $4.3
million dollars.
