Wednesday, October 22nd, New Tork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill
Cornell Medical Center hosted their 2008 Cabaret Benefit
at the World Financial Center Winter Garden, 220 Vesey
Street. It raised a record-breaking $2.8 million
to support the work of the medical center in patient
care, research and medical education.
It was
attended by some of the most prominent people in the
medical industry and New York society including comedian
Jon Stewart, fashion designer Lisa Perry
and her husband Perry Corporation hedge fund manager
Richard Perry, event chair and socialite
Charlotte Ford along with daughter Elena Ford
and sister Anne Ford, Dr. Antonio M. Gotto
and wife Anita, NewYork-Presbyterian’s Executive
VP and Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Steven J. Corwin,
Stacy and Zev Rosenwaks, M.D., Nancy Wexler,
M.D., Patricia Yarberry Allen, M.D. and
husband Douglas McIntyre, Josh and Shoshanna
Gruss, Stephanie and Chase Coleman, and
Julia and David Koch.
