Boca
Raton, FL – Bonefish Grill and The American Red Cross
teamed up for an evening of fine dining and philanthropy
when the Red Cross became an “Owner for an Evening”. From
open to close, diners at the Boca Raton Bonefish Grill dined
at regular prices knowing 10 percent of the proceeds from
their meal were automatically donated to the American Red
Cross Greater Palm Beach Area Chapter.
“We are
so thankful to Bonefish Grill for providing an opportunity
for their customers to automatically donate to the American
Red Cross,” said Lawrence Casey, Chief Executive Officer of
the Greater Palm Beach Chapter of the American Red Cross.
“Bonefish Grill provided a fantastic, built-in way for
people to make a difference in the community - while having
fun with family and friends and enjoying great food.”
The
evening, which was open to the public, celebrated the wrap
up of the 2009 March is Red Cross Month and the Red Cross
South County Gala, “From Bach to Rock”.
“We were
thrilled to work with the American Red Cross and for this
opportunity to give our guests an easy way to help an
essential non-profit organization in our community,” said
Jimmy Powell, Managing Partner of Bonefish Grill, Boca
Raton. “The services they provide are vital to each and
every one of us.”
Ten
percent of the evenings proceeds will go towards services
provided by the South County Service Center of the Greater
Palm Beach Area Chapter of the American Red Cross. The South
County Service Center is responsible for providing vital
services to the community including education for public
health and safety, and disaster relief and assistance such
as temporary housing, clothing, medication, comfort kits and
crisis counseling by mental health licensed professionals.

About Bonefish Grill
Founded in
St. Petersburg, Fla. (January 2000), by veteran
restaurateurs Tim Curci and Chris Parker, the Bonefish Grill
dining experience originated upon the premise of simplicity
and consistency and a commitment to excellence at every
level within the restaurant – food, service, décor and
value. Bonefish Grill specializes in market-fresh fish
prepared to order over an oak-burning grill, which gives the
fish a savory, even cook. A tantalizing array of signature
sauces, ranging from fresh and light to rich and flavorful,
are offered to enhance the flavor of the fish. Recognized
as the “Fresh Fish Experts,” the restaurant offers a variety
of eight species from which to choose on any given day. The
fish is flown in fresh, inspected for quality and hand-cut
daily.
