The United Nations Peacebuilding Commission
The FPCD wishes to commend the Peacebuilding Commission (PBC) for its special attention to gender related issues and development work. As a Global Partner, the FPCD has made concrete contributions to this end by addressing the Millennium Development Goals. The FPCD is actively targeting gender equality and advancing health care for children and mothers through landmark projects like the Prince Rainier III Maternity Clinic.
The founding of the FPCD in April 2005 predates the PBC, however, the FPCD has made part of its official mission statement to regularly follow the work of the Peacebuilding Commission. Please click for the PBC Calendar .
