Unity:Jerusalem
presentation at the United Nations: July 11-18, 2009
Originally born in Russia in
1965, but now a native of
Germany and New YorkCity,
Ekatherina was deeply
inspired by her travels
throughout Israel. Her
passion and appreciation for
the beauty, inspiration and
spirituality that she found
in Jerusalem is expertly
expressed in her works.
She made painted photographs
of the sacred places for
Jewish, Christian, Muslim,
Baha'i religions and wrote
on them the texts from the
Torah, New Testament, Koran,
Baha'i and Buddhist
meditations to demonstrate
theconnection between the
religions and their common
goal to love God and the law
of the creation, to feel
compassion for the people
around us, and accept
our self as a part of the
creation of God.
Ekatherina is dedicating to
the peace and unity in
Middle East and all world
and hopes that people of all
races can live in harmony
and together.
The purpose of her
Foundation "Unity:
Jerusalem" is to raise money
to educate Jewish, Arab and
Christian children to live
in peace through the auction
of her painted photographs
taken in and around
Jerusalem.
The Foundation is working
in cooperation with children
programs of the Shimon Peres
Center of Peace, Michail
Gorbatschow Foundation and
SOS children villages.
