Gratitude House
celebrated 41 years of serving the community as a
drug and alcohol recovery resource for women with
its 23rd Annual Fashion Show & Luncheon held on Nov.
7, 2009.
The event took place at
the Marriott Hotel in
West Palm Beach, and include
a silent auction and raffle. Janice Rivella and
Libbie DeLosh were cochairmen for the event that
attracted nearly 200 guests, many of which were
Gratitude House graduates and long time supporters.
The event raised more than $19,000 which will be
used to fund residential addiction treatment
programs for women. Board Member John Yeend was
honored at the event for his many years of service
as a volunteer board member on the Board of
Trustees, the Executive Committee and Board
President from 2003-2007.
A runway fashion show
was narrated and created by Rose Meyerowich and
included fashions from Wish Apparel, gallery Five,
Suite Your Swimwear, Top Drawer, Via Condotti, Once
Upon a Tim and Harbour Clothing.
Gratitude House Inc. is
a 501(c) (3) non-profit corporation, founded in 1968

designed so that newborns and infants can live in
