Internationally recognized sports medicine
expert and orthopedic surgeon Dr. Kevin Plancher
hosted a cocktail celebration on Thursday,
November 5th to welcome Dr. Eric J. Balaguer to
the Plancher Orthopedics practice. The
reception also served as a reopening party for
the Manhattan branch of Plancher Orhtopedics,
located at 1160 Park Avenue. Cocktails and hors
d’ouevres were served from 5pm to 7pm at the
newly
renovated space.
Dr. Plancher
is currently the team physician for professional
football
(USFL – United States Football League), and
professional lacrosse (The Long Island Lizards),
and he also serves as Head Team Physician for
Manhattanville College, and the USSA Ski and
Snowboard team. He is also the founder of The
Orthopedic Foundation for Active Lifestyles,
a
non-profit foundation focused on maintaining and
enhancing the physical well-being of active
individuals through the development and
promotion of research and supporting
technologies.

Dr. Balaguer is an upper
extremity surgeon specializing in hand, wrist
and elbow conditions as well as microvascular
surgery.
He finalized his schooling with a fellowship
The University of Miami, and is one of the only
doctors in Manhattan proficient in new
procedures in hand and upper extremity
surgeries.
