(NYSCF)
at
their beautiful
5th Avenue home in New York City. Guests
received an
update on the
latest
developments in
stem cell
research from
Kevin C. Eggan,
Ph.D.,
NYSCF’s Chief
Scientific
Officer, and
Susan L.
Solomon,
NYSCF’s founder
and CEO.
The New York Stem
Cell Foundation (NYSCF)
will hold its annual
dinner celebration, “Breaking Ground,” on
Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 6:30 pm
at The
Rockefeller University in Manhattan.
World-renowned Architect Frank Gehry will be
honored with The NYSCF Humanitarian Award
presented by Barry Diller, Chairman and CEO, IAC,
and Joel S. Marcus, Chairman and CEO of
Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc. will
receive The NYSCF Leadership Award, presented by
Bob Lieber, New York City Deputy Mayor for
Economic Development. The event supports NYSCF’s
mission to fund and facilitate the most
innovative stem cell research with the goal of
finding cures for the most devastating diseases
of our time.
