McFarlane
Ross formed
The Palm
Beach
Flappers in
order to
increase
awareness
and
much-needed
funds for Palm Beach County’s homeless population. Not only did
she raise
money to
benefit the
cause, but
she also
spent time
working
directly
with those
less
fortunate
who needed a
hand. Her
efforts led
to the
growth of
The Lord’s
Place and
the creation
of
St. Ann’s
Place
Hygiene Center, which provides much-needed
services for
individuals
living on
the streets,
including
hygiene
facilities,
food
programs,
heath care,
housing and
job support.
The services
supported by
The Palm
Beach
Flappers are
geared
toward
assisting
homeless
people to
make a
better life
for
themselves,
as well as
to end the
cycle of
homelessness.
