On Sunday,
August 8th,
Ingeborg
and Ira
Rennert
opened their
home for a
special
dinner
benefiting
the
Museum of
Jewish
Heritage – a
Living
Memorial to
the
Holocaust.
The
event,
entitled
A Summer
Evening in
Sagaponack,
was a
celebration
of the
Museum’s
current
exhibit
Project Mah
Jongg,
which
explores the
history and
meaning of
the game
that became
a
Jewish-American
tradition.
The exhibit
includes
original
illustrations
by Isaac
Mizrahi,
Maira Kalman,
Christoph
Niemann, and
Bruce
McCall.
All proceeds
from the
night will
benefit the
Museum of
Jewish
Heritage –
A Living
Memorial to
the Holocaust.
