As the Mizner Park Amphitheater in downtown Boca Raton
overflowed with love on December 18 and 19, it was no
surprise that local business leader and philanthropists
Howard and Pamela Kaye were truly full of nachas (pride).
Fedstock, a groundbreaking area-wide, multigenerational
event with something for everyone brought the Jewish
community together as never before, in this beautiful
outdoor setting.
“Howard
and Pamela Kaye’s vision and love for this community were
absolutely instrumental to making Fedstock a reality,” said
Andrew M. Rose, Federation’s VP of Marketing, Communications
and Corporate Development. “Without them, we could not have
gotten this amazing, all-embracing weekend off the ground.”
More than 7,500 enjoyed concerts with Matisyahu and Dudu
Fisher on Saturday and Sunday night, and grooved with top
local musicians, kosher food, a “shuk” Jewish marketplace,
“Dr. Wohlgemuth’s Kid Zone” and Jewish children’s activities
at a free Jewish festival on Sunday.
Making the
event a true area celebration, the Jewish Federation of
South Palm Beach County proudly cosponsored Fedstock with
the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, Jewish Federation of
Broward County, Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County,
and local synagogues, schools and organizations.
And the Howard Kaye Insurance Agency was pivotal as the
Peace/Platinum Fedstock sponsor. A very familiar face in the
Jewish community, Howard serves on the Federation’s
Executive Board, chairs its NextGen program to develop young
leadership, serves on the boards of Adolph & Rose Levis JCC
and Congregation B’nai Israel, and coaches for Boca Hoops.
He and his wife, Pam, are also active in other charitable
activities in the area.
Also
renowned as a leading expert in the life insurance industry
and a pioneer of wealth creation and preservation, Kaye was
the Federation’s Metro Business 2008 honoree
for his continuous leadership and support of the Jewish
community. He’s an
ongoing Top of the Table member of the prestigious Million
Dollar Round Table, the host of WXEL-TV’s Around Town with
Howard Kaye, and a highly respected and sought after
national presenter, and frequent expert on radio and
television programs.
Engaged
well beyond the local area, Kaye has also served on the Bar
Ilan University Estate Planning and Charitable Giving
Committee and the Executive Board of Bar Ilan West Coast
Friends Committee and Young Leadership Circle. The Kayes
also founded the National Foundation for Jewish Continuity,
which sponsored the Steamship St. Louis 70th
Anniversary history-making educational program and
international survivor reunion.
“I’m
thrilled to be able to help so many people celebrate our
area’s multi-faceted, multi-generational vibrant Jewish
culture on such a wide scale,” said Howard Kaye of his and
Pamela’s instrumental role. “Fedstock has truly showcased
our thriving Jewish community for two extraordinary,
inspiring days. The love and nachas can only continue all
year.”
In addition to Howard Kaye Insurance Agency, Fedstock’s
generous sponsors were: Harmony/Gold: Joy/Silver: Sandelman
Foundation, CBIZ Goldstein Lewin, L’chaim Vodka;
Spirit/Bronze: AutoNation, Morgan Stanley, Kravit Estate;
Happiness/Media: CBS 12, WXEL, Sunny 104.3, Buzz 103.1, Boca
Raton Observer, Sun-Sentinel, Jewish Journal. Special thanks
