Historical Society of Palm Beach County and the
upcoming Private Preview Evening of the Palm
Beach Jewelry, Art & Antique Show. The reception

The Palm Beach Jewelry, Art & Antique Show,
commences its seventh annual event on Friday,
February 12 with an Opening Night Private
Preview Party which benefits the Historical
Society of Palm Beach County. The event is held
from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Palm Beach
County Convention Center. Tickets to the Opening
Night Private Preview Evening are $175 per
person and include cocktails and hors d’oeurves
in the Historical Society lounge. Guests are
provided the first opportunity to view and
purchase art and antiques from more than 200 of
the world’s finest international dealers before
the official show opening the following day.
Funds raised from the Preview Evening support
the educational programs of the Society.

The 8,000 square-foot Richard and Pat Johnson
Palm Beach County History Museum, which opened
in March 2008, is located within the 1916
Courthouse in downtown West Palm Beach.
Through a partnership with the School District
of Palm Beach County, the Historical Society has
created and implemented history programming for
local students. The programs are delivered to
classrooms at no cost to taxpayers, reach
approximately 25,000 students annually and
provide a critical dimension to those studies,
enhancing the educational experience by bringing
classroom lessons to life through
state-of-the-art, interactive exhibits.
