The Drama League's 26th Annual Benefit Gala was
truly a once-in-a-lifetime event as they celebrated the
illustrious career of screen and stage legend
Angela Lansbury.
Catherine Zeta-Jones
and Victor Garber
hosted the unforgettable star-studded evening which
featured: Bernadette Peters,
Christine Ebersole, Chita Rivera, Donna Murphy, Marian
Seldes, Edie Falco, Audra McDonald, Cheyenne Jackson, Brian
d'Arcy James, Len Cariou, T.R. Knight, Will Chase, Beth
Fowler, Christopher Sieber, Charles Busch, and Will Swenson.
The event was co-directed by Tony Award
winner Michael Mayer and
Beatrice Terry.

Benefit Gala raises funds to support the educational
initiatives of
The Directors Project, the
premiere training program for talented young directors. Ms.
Lansbury is an ardent supporter of this most worthy cause.
The black-tie evening began at 7pm at
The Pierre Hotel with
cocktails and silent auction. Dinner was served at 8pm,
followed by a musical celebration.. |
