recently
hosted
their 2nd
Annual
Sweet
Heart
Dessert
Challenge
at Four
Seasons
Caterer
in
Southampton.
The
event
was
sponsored
by Bert
and
Meredith
Cohen.
100
guests
enjoyed
sampling
desserts
from
some of
the East
Ends
finest
establishments.
The
participants
included:
Gurney’s
Beach
Bakery,
Sugar
Sugar,
Tate's
Bake
Shop,
Four
Seasons
Caterer
Southampton,
Copa
Wine and
Tapas
Bar, and
Audrey’s
Fine
Baked
Goods/21
Main.
Tate's
Bake
Shop was
announced
the
winner
of the
2nd
Annual
Hamptons
Sweet
Heart
Dessert
Challenge.
Winning
only by
a vote
or two,
Tate's
took the
prize
with
their
heart
healthy
chocolate
pie.
Tate's
will
serve
the
dessert
at this
year's
Heart of
the
Hamptons
Ball on
Saturday,
June 26,
2010 at
Hayground
School
in
Bridgehampton.
The
winner
was
determined
by event
guests
who
voted
for
their
favorite
dessert
of the
night.
The
Dessert
Challenge
helped
raise
more
than
$8,500
for the
American
Heart
Association.
