Marshall,

the Arthur
R. Marshall
Foundation,
which
champions
the
restoration
and
preservation
of the
greater
Everglades
ecosystem,
today
announced
that Jane
Cummings of
Palm
Beach has
joined the
nonprofit
organization’s
Board of
Directors.
“A longtime
philanthropist,
Jane
Cummings
shares our
passion for
the
environment,
with special
interests in
children and
the arts,
but most of
all she
wants to be
actively
involved in
the work we
are doing
here in Palm
Beach
County,”
said
Marshall.
“She
recently
held a small
reception to
benefit the
Marshall
Foundation
and will be
an
outstanding
addition to
our Board of
Directors.”
Ms.
Cummings’
family came
to Florida
in the 1970s
from
Montreal,
where she
was involved
in numerous
philanthropic
activities,
including the
development
of Cummings
House, the
home of
Montreal's
Jewish
community
agencies.
