MEMBERS OF THE PALM BEACH COUNTY CHAPTER of the WOODSTOCK FOUNDATION along with over 250 supporters and friends gathered Friday, October 1st, 2010 at the Players Club in Wellington for a fund-raising cocktail reception, dinner and fashion show. Guests enjoyed a red carpet experience with photographers Jerry Cantave, Paul Berman, Paulette Martin and Mark Mueller with interviewers Tim Byrd, “The Byrdman” and Antal Drubi Photo & Cinema Production and Jennifer Scordamaglia with Miami TV providing the thrill of the celebrity moment. Richard Jankus, Event Chair, SE Regional Chapter Director, presided over the festivities, greeting all and coordinating the evening’s many musical and visual contributions. Performances by Saxophonist Andrea Farfan, The Honor Guard Acapella, Kimiko Deguchi and the Caruso’s Dancesport at the Plaza dancers provided entertainment throughout the night. After a cocktail party with the stunningly dressed guests, the multi-course dinner began and the designers launched their fashions. There were fabulous presentations of swimwear, evening wear, children’s clothes and accessories, thanks to Lorena Arbelaez, designer of Lorena’s Swimwear, Rosabeth Alfaro, designer of Rosabeth Couture, Karen Lopez Jordan, designer, Diana Classic Children and Alejandra Acevedo of Dos Puntos Accessories with Hair and Makeup provided by Natascha Fasnakis, Owner of Gilded Spa and Salon. All in attendance were part of the bidding for the resplendent Silent Auction items orchestrated by Helene and Michael Sussman of Gotlinkd, raising additional funds for the Woodstock Foundation.

The Woodstock Foundation’s goal is to help children live normal lives, and to help seniors live gracefully by providing monetary and volunteer support for national charities in their local efforts of assisting children and the elderly. “Fashionistas from all over Palm Beach County descended on Wellington at the Players Club for a night of fun, fashion and fund-raising. Having Bill and Shannon Raike and the rest of our Woodstock officials at this event was especially nice.
