The
New York Stem Cell Foundation (NYSCF) held its
5th Annual Gala Dinner on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at
6:30 pm at
The Rockefeller University in Manhattan.
This year, NYSCF honored Dorothy Lichtenstein with The NYSCF
Humanitarian Award. The award was presented by Agnes Gund,
President Emerita of The Museum of Modern Art, and the
artist Chuck Close, who received The NYSCF Humanitarian
Award in 2008. The event supports NYSCF’s mission to
fund and facilitate the most innovative stem cell
research with the goal of finding cures for the most
devastating diseases of our time.
For
more information about the gala celebration, please
