A large group of wine lovers gathered at the new Wine Wise  for the
Greenwich Wine Society's last wine tasting of the year .
A Holiday fundraiser to support three local charities:
Kids in Crisis,
The Food Bank of Lower Fairfield
 and the Greenwich Point Conservancy.

 The Society held ten well-attended events in 2012 including an "Introduction to the Wines of Italy" at Toscana,
a Bastille Day wine dinner at La Cremaillere,
a Spanish wine tasting at Solera,
 "The Wonderful World of GreekWines" at Eos Restaurant in Stamford, the "Wines of Summer" at the Gingerman, and more.

 There was also a Sangria party at the Harbor House Inn in August which featured oil paintings by New Zealand artist Jillian Dyson,
and a Prosecco Party held in April which has become an annual event
