The McCarton Foundation’s annual Genius of Autism event was
part concert, part art exhibition, and fully inspirational.
It was an opportunity to celebrate the
incredible ability that exists within young people on the
autistic spectrum. From singers and dancers to painters and
animators, 14 autistic artists were selected from
around the globe whose remarkable accomplishments were an
inspiration
to all those who attended.

In addition to the talented Honorees the
host for the evening was ABC News’s Chief Health and
Medical editor, Dr. Richard Besser and
featured special guest appearances by: 3 time Grammy award
winning artist Steve Earle, MAC
Award Winning Vocalist Karen Oberlin and
The 2012 Genius of Autism was held

at the historic Edison Ballroom at
