Gus....Lunch is
being served
Until next year.... |
The Animal Medical Center's Living Legends Luncheon is a
"friendraiser" and fundraiser for the AMC and
celebrates the extraordinary cases of pets who have
recovered against all odds with the amazing care and
dedication of the AMC's veterinarians.
Every year for the past five years AMC supporters have
joined with AMC veterinarians and Board Members to meet
these special animals, but also to hear about
advancements in veterinary medicine and lifesaving
treatments.
The luncheon is a unique opportunity for clients and pet lovers to
converse with veterinarians outside of the hospital
setting and in a more social environment. The luncheon
has grown every year and this year it was sold out.
I have been an AMC client for the past
fifteen years. During that time I think I have needed
every department they have, but no more than I have in
the past week since one of my cats, Monty, was diagnosed
with lymphoma. He has at least eight veterinarians
attending to his care, customizing a treatment plan that
includes everything from radiation treatments to
acupuncture. Human healthcare should be so
comprehensive!
