Quest Love, Graham
Nash and Pulitzer Prize Winning Journalist Carl Bernstein
were on hand at the Paley Center to preview Sex, Drugs and
Rock 'N' Roll. The final episode of CNN's acclaimed
series 'The Sixties"
After the screening, Quest Love, Graham Nash and Carl
Bernstein discussed the lasting impact of Sixties
Counter-Culture on the U.S. and the world and the rapid and
fundamental break it represented with the past- political,
musical, and social. The conversation also included
how American music and literary scene of the 50's and
early 60's-Folk, Beatniks, Kerouac, and Jazz among it's
aspects- evolved to an era in which Hippies, Psychedelia,
Woodstock and the anti-war movement were among the powerful
forces that profoundly changed the character and course of
the postwar world...and still resonate today.
