Eighth Annual Big Apple Circus Benefit

The
Hospital for Special Surgery hosted its eighth annual Big
Apple Circus Benefit this Saturday, December 6th.
The Fun Festival was held before the circus performance
which included face painting, juggling, stilt walkers,
caricaturists, photo booths and more. |
|
This
was the event’s most successful year by far- nearly 800
guests attended and over $630,000 in critical funds were
raised to advance the Hospital’s pediatric care and research.
The special event exemplifies the Hospital’s deep commitment
to the treatment and rehabilitation of children, priorities
for the Hospital since its founding in 1863 as a 28-bed
children’s hospital on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. |

Proceeds from the Big
Apple Circus Benefit will support the
Alfred and Norma Lerner Children’s Pavilion, The CHArm
Center, and the pediatric
orthopedic clinic. |
