NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical
Center hosted its annual Lying-In Spring Luncheon to benefit
its Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology on Thursday, May
15 at Cipriani 42nd Street.
The luncheon featured a discussion on the art of conscious
parenting with clinical psychologist and author Dr. Shefali
Tsabary.
Over 200 guests helped raise over $350,000.
Founded in 1799, the Lying-In Hospital was New York’s first
medical center devoted solely to the care of women in
childbirth.
Today, NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell’s Department of
Obstetrics and Gynecology sets standards in patient care,
training and
community outreach.
