Organization of Italian American Women (NOIAW) Gala, Monday
evening May 12 at
The St. Regis
In addition to authoring the New

Most, Lisa co-authored five of the New
York Times best-selling
series, YOU: The
Owner’s Manual. She is Editor at Large of Dr.
Oz, The Good Life, Hearst magazine’s new lifestyle
publication, and appears regularly on the
Dr. Oz Show.
Lisa and her
husband,
Dr. Mehmet Oz, co-founded
HealthCorps, a peer-mentoring, non-profit which delivers a
progressive curriculum in nutrition, fitness and mental
resilience, impacting over 230,000 teens in at-risk
communities across the country.
Proceeds from the NOIAW Gala will help
support the development and implementation of NOIAW programs
which include: Scholarship Programs, providing financial
assistance to deserving young Italian American women
pursuing their education; Cultural Exchange Programs,
providing a culturally enriching and educational experience
for Italian and Italian-American college students, and
monthly member programs, offering cultural, social,
educational and networking
opportunities and events. |
The National Organization of Italian American
Women (NOIAW), a
non-profit, 501(c)(3)
organization, was
founded in 1980 and continues to be the premier organization
for women of Italian ancestry. Today the organization
includes over 1,000 members and affiliates, and is
internationally recognized for preserving Italian heritage,
language and culture by promoting and supporting the
