Boys
& Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) honored FOX Sports with
the Champion
of Youth Award at
their annual Great Futures gala Nov. 5th at The Beverly
Hilton Hotel, Beverly Hills. Eric Shanks, President,
COO and Executive Producer of FOX Sports and a BGCA
Trustee accepted the award on behalf of FOX Sports. FOX
Sports announcers Joe Buck and Erin Andrews co-hosted
the event. Andrew Tennenbaum, President of Flashpoint
Entertainment and a member of BGCA Board of Directors
and Tim Wennes, West Coast President of Union Bank and a
BGCA National Trustee co-chaired. The evening included
a live auction featuring trips to the 2015 Super Bowl
XLIX in Glendale, Arizona, a Turtle Island, Fiji getaway
and an Ultimate US Open Weekend at Chambers Bay,
complete with airfare, accommodations and a meet and
greet with Joe Buck and Greg Norman. Guests also
enjoyed up close and personal looks at Kyle Busch’s M&M
NASCAR #18 as well as Cleatus, the FOX Sports robot.
