“Clown Panties and Other Unpleasant Truths: An Evening with
Inside Amy Schumer”
The 2014 New York Comedy Festival, in
partnership with the Paley Center for Media, hosted a
panel discussion with the creative team behind Comedy
Central’s critically acclaimed show Inside
Amy Schumer. Moderator Jason Zinoman of The New York
Times helped the panelists examine how this Emmy and
Critics Choice Award-nominated series confronts the
challenges and contradictions of contemporary womanhood in
innovative and irreverent ways through the combination of
sketches, stand up, and interview segments.
