Ronald McDonald
House New York’s inaugural “Power of Your Purse” held at
the elegant Doubles Club on Fifth Avenue event raised
$70,000 in support of families staying at the facility.
Judy Gilbert's idea of having affluent women donate some
of their gently worn designer bags and then reselling
them was a big hit. The highlights of the evening were
several exclusive pieces by Hermès, Chanel and Judith
Lieber. |

Ronald
McDonald House New York provides temporary housing for
pediatric cancer patients and their families in a strong,
supportive and caring environment which encourages and
nurtures the development of child-to-child and
parent-to-parent support |
The proceeds
will support programs and services provided to families
staying
at the House. |
