April 30, 2015– The 94th Annual Women’s
National Republican Club Awards Dinner Recipients were
honored during their annual gala on April 20th. Since 1921,
the Women’s National Republican Club has presented awards to
leaders in such fields as politics, government, journalism
and the humanities.
This year’s honorees were: |

Lo Bianco, Arts and Humanities Award |
|
Congresswoman Foxx
is a six-term Congresswoman from North Carolina’s 5th
Congressional district. Congresswoman Stefanik, who at the
age of 30, is the youngest woman ever elected to Congress.
She represents New York’s 21st Congressional
district. Amity Shlaes is a best-selling author of books on
President Calvin Coolidge and the Great Depression. Tony Lo
Bianco is a Tony-nominated actor who has portrayed on stage
and film one of New York’s most beloved mayors, Fiorello La
Guardia. |

four honorees, House Speaker John Boehner and House Majority
Leader Kevin McCarthy attended the reception at the event. |
The
Women's National Republican Club is one of the oldest
national clubs for Republican women and the only one to
provide its members with a Clubhouse. The Clubhouse is owned
by the Club's members, and the Club is a separate entity not
officially or legally associated with any other
organization, although its members work closely with the
Republican Party. The Club provides its members with
excellent dining and meeting facilities and guest rooms
close to the center of cultural, civic, business and
political activities in New York City. It has members from
every state and the District
of Columbia.
