York, NY - YOUTH AMERICA GRAND
PRIX (YAGP) – the largest
international dance network and student ballet scholarship
audition – presented its annual signature “Stars of Today
Meet the Stars of Tomorrow” Gala, at the David H. Koch
Theater, Lincoln Center, on April 16, 2015 at 6:30PM. The
Gala, sponsored by Bulgari, featured the finalists of the
international ballet scholarship auditions (stars of
tomorrow) performing alongside today’s most celebrated
ballet dancers (stars of today) – many of whom are YAGP
alumni. Following
the performance, dancers and guests,
enjoyed dinner and dancing on the Promenade of the David H.
Koch Theater. Veronica
Bulgari, who was in attendance with her son, said "Bulgari
is thrilled to support Youth America Grand Prix and, through
them, so many talented young artists. I love ballet and I
loved bringing my son tonight. Hailey
Baldwin and Bella
Thorne looked
stunning in Bulgari's Bzero, Diva and Spiga collections."

an original score for the world premiere of ‘Windy Sand.’
Following the performance, Amy
Astley, editor of Teen Vogue, chaired dinner
on the Promenade. Astley,
Baldwin, David
Hallberg and Thorne were
donned in Bulgari jewelry for the evening. Astley noted "I
am so honored and proud to have been part of the important
work of YAGP in nurturing and supporting the next generation
of dance talent.”

YOUTH
AMERICA GRAND PRIX (YAGP)
is
a global dance network, connecting dance students, teachers,
schools, companies, choreographers, professional dancers and
audiences all over the world. YAGP annually conducts the
world's largest student ballet scholarship audition, giving
promising young dance students over $300,000 in scholarships
to the leading dance schools worldwide. Since its founding
in 1999, over 70,000 young dancers ages 9 to 19 of diverse
ethnic and cultural backgrounds have participated in YAGP's
international workshops, audition classes, and dance
awareness events. Gifted dancers have earned over $3 million
in scholarships to the leading dance schools. More than 300
YAGP alumni currently dance with 80 companies around the
world including American Ballet Theatre, New York City
Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Boston Ballet, Stuttgart
Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet, Eifman Ballet of St. Petersburg,
and many others.
