On July 19, 280 riders participated in The
Jewish Board’s 7th Annual
Hudson Valley Bike Ride in
Purchase, New York. Individuals came together to help
support The Jewish Board, raising almost $600,000 for New
Yorkers in need. The funds generated through the ride allow
The Jewish Board to sustain, expand, and enhance its health
and human services programs throughout New York City and
Westchester. Riders enjoyed the beauty and nature of scenic
routes while volunteers and supporters cheered them on,
followed by a finish line celebration for all participants
including a BBQ and live music.
For more
than 140 years, The Jewish Board has been helping
individuals to realize their potential and live as
independently as possible. With hope and resilience guiding
its work, The Jewish Board promotes recovery by addressing
all aspects of a person’s life, including mental and
physical health, family, housing, employment and education.
Each year, the nonprofit organization serves more than
35,000 people of all ages across the five boroughs and at a
campus in Westchester.
