WHAT: A Tribute to Polly Bergen
WHERE: American Airlines Theatre 227 W. 42nd Street (between 7th and 8th
Aves) WHEN: Thursday, March 26 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
An Emmy Award-winning actress and singer, Ms. Bergen’s
career spanned more than six decades in films, TV, Broadway
musicals and concerts. She passed away from natural causes
on September 20 at age 84.
The event was produced by Rex Reed and Michael Alden with
creative consultant Deborah Grace Winer, celebrated
Polly Bergen's life and career with a star-studded
lineup of participants. The Honorary Tribute Committee
included, Jan McCormack, Mark Adams, Helen Bartlett, Tony
Bill, Ron Franco, Rodger Hess, Judy Katz, Keith Kollar,
Danny Marin, Shari Sirkin and Lou Weiss.
The event was made possible in part by support from the
Roundabout Theatre Company / Artistic Director Todd Haimes,
Langham Place Hotel and Steinway Pianos. |
