THE FRESH AIR FUND’S
ANNUAL FALL BENEFIT & AUCTION:
LE BAL MASQUE
On Thursday,
November 19, 2015, The Fresh Air Fund hosted its Annual Fall
Benefit and Silent Auction, “Le Bal Masque,” at Chelsea Piers in
New York City. Close to 700 supporters and friends enjoyed
cocktails, dinner, dancing and a silent auction and raised over
$546,000 to benefit The Fresh Air Fund, a nonprofit
organization.
The Gala
Chairs were Isabelle B. Krusen, Megan Petrie Ramm and Bryan Ramm,
Kimberly E. Steward and Tamie Peters Thomas and Richard D.
Thomas. Vice Chairs were T. Troy and Keisha Dixon, April Grunow,
Courtney Alexis Langer
and Amanda K. Starbuck.
Silent
Auction highlights included: Adler Mountain Lodge weekend stay
in Italian Alps; premiere screening of HBO’s new series VINYL;
premiere screening of Showtime’s new original show Billions;
Four Seasons Vail Hotel for two nights; tickets to Cirque du
Soleil, School of Rock and Live! With Michael and Kelly, along
with sports experiences and fabulous fashion items.
Since 1877,
The Fresh Air Fund, a not-for-profit agency, has provided free
summer experiences in the country to more than 1.8 million New
York City children from low-income communities. Each year, close
to 9,000 children visit volunteer host families across the
Northeast through the Friendly Towns Program, attend Fresh Air
Fund camps or participate in year-round enriching, educational
programs.
