HOSTED THANKSGIVING COCKTAILS
FOR THE NEW
YORK CITY MISSION SOCIETY HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE
New York, NY – November
25, 2015 – Martin and Jean Shafiroff hosted 100 friends at their
Park Avenue home on Tuesday, November 24th to toast Thanksgiving
and celebrate the work of the New York City Mission Society.

Z, Gary Lawrance, Zita Davisson, Barbara Poliwoda, Elizabeth

Charles Atkins were among the guests who donned fall colors,
sipped champagne and were treated to delicious hors d’oeuvres.
Jean Shafiroff thanked everyone for joining her family to toast
The New York City Mission Society, which helps children, youth
and families in New York City’s poorest neighborhoods transcend
the ills of poverty and create a cycle of success for
generations to come. Elsie McCabe Thompson, Executive Director
of Mission, spoke very briefly about the work of the charity as
well . Every guest brought an unwrapped toy for the NYC Mission
Society Holiday Toy Drive. Over 200 toys were collected.
