March 14 New York City: The
Maestro Cares Foundation founded by Marc Anthony and Henry
Cardenas 7 years ago honored several prominent
personalities. The event brought together many notable
dignitaries like t he
55 President of Mexico Pres. Vicente Fox , Hamilton Star Lin
Manuel Miranda, Oscar winner Rita Moreno and Fast and
Furious Star Vin Diesel. The
MaestroCares Foundation is a non-profit organization
established by Marc and Henry Cardenas to help build
orphanges for children in Latin America. |

The founder of Giving Back foundation, Meera
Gandhi was also present there. Last
year notably Deepak Chopra was honored and in years before
Meera Gandhi was the recipient of the Maestro cares
humanitarian award. Lin was
honored with the Community Hero Award, Rita with
the Global Ambassador of Arts and Culture Award and Vicente with
the Maestro Cares Humanitarian Award. Marc
performed to a packed Cipriani wallstreet ballroom.
Favorites like Vivir Mi Vidahad the crowd singing and
dancing. The night raised $4mn to $5mn for centers all over
South America. |
