United Nations Economic And Social Council ( ECOSOC)

President , H.E. Mr. Collen Vixen Kelapile

who is also the
 
 Ambassador and Permanent Representative
Of Botswana to the United Nations .

We discussed inter alia , the engagement of Civil Society in implementing the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals  and participation in the United Nations Economic And Social Council High Level Meetings and Events .

the Seventy- Seventh President of the Economic and Social  Council

 on the 23rd of July , 2021.

 Ambassador  Collen Vixen Kelapile is currently 
 the Ambassador and Permanent Representative
 of Botswana  to the United Nations .

the United Nations General Assembly.

H.E. Mr. Abdullah Shahid , 

hosted a town hall meeting
for members of Civil society - ( CSOs) ;

which was jointly organized by

the President of The General Assembly 

 and the Civil Society Unit and the United Nations Department of Global Communications .

The said meeting was the first in-person meeting with the President of the General Assembly with Civil Society since the COVID-19 global pandemic .

For  The Planet And For Prosperity ,

the five Rays of Hope

 which  are :
