The 8th Catwalk for Charity presented by Angels
For Humanity raised in excess of $500K at the
annual charity brunch on Sunday, Nov. 6 at the Ritz Carlton
Key Biscayne. The iconic global designer Angel Sanchez captivated
on the catwalk debuting a new couture collection of 25
contemporary pieces.
The lavish afternoon was highlighted by a private concert
headlined by international star Julio Iglesias Jr.
who performed a selection of his music, as well as a sample
of "To All the Girls I Loved Before," the chart-topping hit
from father -- and legendary Latin artist -- Julio Iglesias.
Model girlfriend Vivi Di Domenico made an appearance
alongside the recording artist on the charity event's red
carpet.
Long-time supporter, WPLG-10 ABC Local News Anchor Calvin
Hughes made his return as celebrity emcee and as always,
the event benefited children from Miami’s underserved
communities, and those in abject poverty in Haiti and other
developing nations.
Notables in attendance included Real Housewives of Miami stars
-- Kiki Barth, Adriana de Moura, and Dr.
Nicole Martin, who closed out the catwalk in elaborately
jeweled angel wings for the show’s finale.
