It was a beautiful
night of celebration for a trio of friends,
Jessy Moya, Jim Luce and Gary Springer
hosted by power couple, American Abstract sculptor and
painter, Peter Reginato and his wife, Daniela Zahradnikova
Reginato, CEO of DZ Zone NYC. They wanted to bring cherished
friends together to celebrate the trio's July birthdays.
They share not only birthdays in July but a passion for
doing works for the betterment of humanity.
Jim Luce
launched the James Jay Dudley Luce Foundation and
Orphans International Worldwide (OIWW) almost 30 years
ago. He has raised over 1.5 million for orphaned
children in Asia, Africa and Americas. Luce was awarded
the Certificate of Congressional Recognition in 2004
(Hon. Charles B Rangel) and again in 2007 for his work
with orphans. One of humanity's most valuable resources
is young global leadership and its' impact on positive
social change which his foundation continues to
support. He also writes for the Huffington Post and the
Daily Kos on Thought Leaders and Global Citizens. In
Jim's words, "My goal is uplifting the worst of humanity
while celebrating the best of humanity - especially the
arts."

Jessy Moya
started her career in banking working for CitiBank as a
Client Associate for their Latin America Private Bank
Division. She was instrumental in implementing the Know
Your Client department before moving to the Precious
Metals Division as a trader. From Citi she moved to UBS
Inestment Bank Division. Her passion to help others led
to her joining the James Jay Dudley Luce Foundation as

Board for the Pan Logos Foundation. She also serves as
Global Ambassador Patron of the Arts for World Heritage
Cultural Center and Treasurer for the
New York Global Leaders Lions Club.
Gary Springer
is the father of the late, Nick Springer who was a
meningococcal survivor who went on to become a Gold
medalist at the Paralympics in Beijing in 2009. Gary's
late wife, Nancy was one of the founders of the National
Meningitis Association which was instrumental in getting
legislation passed on vaccination in a half dozen
states. Gary is the son of entertainment publicist
legend, John Springer and has carried his father's torch
representing film, theatre and events. In film, his
company, Springer Associates PR represents independent
and foreign films at festivals including Hamptons,
Sarasota, Neport, Nantucket, Isreali, Cine Fest Brasil-NY,
IETFF (Monte Carlo) among others. Gary's early career
was as an actor and his film appearances include
"Dog Day Afternoon," "Jaws 2," and "Law and Disorder."
The birthday
celebrants and their generous host and hostess were
immortalized by world famous artist of Ukrainian
descent,
Tatyana Horoshko Gegera whose magnificent talent,
passion and dedication seem to bring each subject's soul
to life on the canvas. Everyone marvels how she captures
the spirit and essence of all people she paints. She is
more than an artist being in many ways a spiritual
mystic channeling the energy of her subject/s. Many
agree she has a range far beyond most artists of our
time. Taty's artistry has spanned the globe from
European galleries to luxury brands in America. She came
to America escaping Ukraine with her family to pursue
her artisty in New York. Recently, in an effort to
celebrate those who do good works on behalf of humanity
Taty has donated her incredible art to honorees and
founders of non-profit organizations including
Southampton Animal Shelter, Career Bridges, The Farzana
Foundation, Global Stress Initiative, Operation Warrior
Shield, Mommy's Heart and Doodles for Hunger Drive to
name a few. Taty immortalizes great individuals who make
the world a better place especially artists, musicians,
and humanitarians.
Many guests were
interviewed to highlight the array of talented guests
including world famous artists, directors, writers,
healthcare professionals, commercial advertising
executives, actresses, publicists, and models. Sasha
Gegera provided professional lighting, photographs and
direction for interviews of VIP attendees conducted by
Lorraine Silvetz, MSW who is Executive Director for
Global Stress Initiative as well as a writer/journalist.
The interviewees were filmed in front of a backdrop, an
incredible painting, by sculptor and painter, Peter
Reginato.
Most of the attendees and celebrants support a myriad of foundations
including Lou Gehrig ALS NYC, Ronald MacDonald House, St
Francis Food Pantry and Shelter, Career Bridges, Daisy
Jopling Music Mentoring Foundation, The Veterans'
Association of New York,
David Lynch Foundation, Global Stress Initiative,
National Meningitis Association among others.
On a beautiful
summer night in Soho, everyone could agree, that
celebrating each birthday and life itself, with friends
who enrich our lives,
is indeed a most precious gift!
