The Annual Gala hosted by the Central Park Conservancy,

titled

 "A Night in the Emerald City,"

was a splendid affair featuring an enchanting blend of cocktails,
 dinner, and dancing.

The tented event brought together hundreds of New York's foremost park supporters, among them notable figures such as

Martha Stewart, Fe Fendi, James & Margo Nederlander,
Michael & Elyse Newhouse, Stewart F. Lane, Bonnie Comley,

 and event Co-Chairs Laureen Seeger & David E. Cohen,
Evelyn & David McCabe, Gillian & Sylvester Miniter,
and Mo Sakurai & Harry Taylor.

Betsy Smith, President and CEO of the Central Park Conservancy, warmly welcomed the guests and elucidated the organization's mission.

 The Central Park Conservancy is dedicated to maintaining Central Park as a refuge from the hustle and bustle of city life for both New Yorkers and visitors. With a staff of over 300, the Conservancy oversees all aspects of the Park's care, from daily maintenance to ongoing restoration and rebuilding projects.

The venue, adorned with an emerald city theme, transported attendees to the magical land of Oz.

Guests embraced the theme, bedecked in shades of green, sparkling attire, ruby shoes, and smiles reflecting their pride in contributing
 to the park's well-being.

Harry Winston sponsored the event, and Robert Mondavi generously provided wines. The evening's highlight featured special performances from the Broadway cast of Wicked.
