amount of rain could keep revelers away from the Grand
Opening of Turkish Rug Co. Owner
Veil Soylemez opened the doors to his brand new 10,000
showroom at the Houston Design Center showcasing his
vast collection of hand woven, vintage and antique
rugs. The event benefited the Kick Off of the Salvation
Army's Red Kettle Campaign. The Campaign hopes to raise
$1.1 Million dollars in much needed funds for the
programs and services. Renown designers created
magical holidays wreaths that were judged and all
proceeds from the sell of the 22 wreaths benefited the
Salvation Army. Designer wreaths included: Beth Dow,
winner; Christina Sacco, Christi Rowland, Tami Owen,
Nicole Zarr, Michelle Marsh, Ruben Salazar and many
