The legendary crime duo blazed into Sag
Harbor
on Saturday, August 2,
with the opening of
Bonnie & Clyde: The Musical at Bay Street Theater.
Directed by Artistic Director Scott Schwartz, this gripping new production
delivers raw energy, a bold cast of ten,
and a stripped-down design that
intensifies every scene.
With a score by Frank Wildhorn, lyrics
by Don Black, and a book by Ivan
Menchell, the musical explores the
passion and desperation that fueled
Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow’s
infamous crime spree.
Opening night drew an electric crowd,
including Bay Street trustees, theater
lovers, and stars like Christie Brinkley
and Donna Karan.
The show features standout performances
by
Amy Bodnar, Gisela Adisa, and Nick
Bailey, among others,
with choreography by Emily Maltby
and scenic design by Anna Louizos.
Running through August 24, Bonnie &
Clyde
