Competition Draws Standing-Room-Only
Crowd at Decorative Center Houston
Holiday spirit was in
full swing at the Decorative Center
Houston on Wednesday, December 3rd, as a
standing-room-only audience gathered in
anticipation of the final verdict in
this year’s Holiday Wreath
Competition. The event was judged by
Shelby Hodge of PaperCity, who
brought her expert eye and editorial
insight to the festive showcase.
More than 17 uniquely
crafted wreaths were entered into
the competition, reflecting the
creativity and talent of participants
across Houston’s design, artisan, and
business communities. Entrants included:

All proceeds from the
event proudly benefited The Salvation
Army Red Kettle Project, which this
year aims to raise over $1,000,000
to support its mission during the
holiday season. Every dollar contributed
through the Red Kettle campaign helps
provide life-changing assistance to
families in need, including food for
the hungry and shelter for individuals
experiencing homelessness.
The event was as a celebration of
community, creativity, and
generosity—highlighting the power of
Houston’s design community to uplift
others during the holiday season. |
