The Salvation Army proudly hosted the
grand opening of its new
Near Northside Houston Command Center on
February 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM. The
ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at
2407 North Main Street, Houston, Texas
77009, marking a significant milestone
in the organization’s ongoing commitment
to serve the community.

This grand opening celebration showcased
The Salvation Army’s expanded presence
and its enhanced ability to offer
services for individuals and families in
need across the
Near Northside Houston area.
The new Command Center is positioned to
provide essential programs and resources
to the community, including emergency
assistance, youth outreach, housing
support, and more. This expansion
further reinforces The Salvation Army’s
unwavering commitment to positively
impacting the lives of Houston
residents.
