The Drama League’s Drama at the Disco
Vol. 2 brought dazzling energy to
The Edison Rooftop on Monday, October
27, 2025. Directed by Drama League
Directors Project alum Elena Araoz,
the evening began with the presentation
of the 2025 Arts Ally Award to
honoree Lia Vollack, presented by
Christopher Wheeldon, with an
exceptional performance by Tavon
Lamont during a two-course dinner.
The celebration continued with a rooftop
dance party featuring Third Reprise,
joined by Broadway stars Solea
Pfeiffer, Britton Smith, and
the cast of MJ the Musical.
Guests enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres and
a decadent dessert bar as they danced
the night away.
Hosted by Drama League leaders Bevin
Ross, Gabriel Stelian-Shanks,
and Bonnie Comley, alongside Gala
Chair Mary Jain, the event was
supported by Board Members Stan Ponte,
Sarah Hutton, Irene Gandy,
Frederic J. Siegel, Darrin
Oduyoye, Jennifer Johnson-Blalock,
Michelle Xing Martello, Paula
Kaminsky Davis, Anne Kauffman,
and Jonathan Lonner—all
celebrating to benefit the Drama
League Directors Project. |
