From
near and far, from the Pacific coast, and the Gulf coast to the
Atlantic coast to New York Harbor, family and friends traveled
to celebrate the anniversary of the birth of |
Dr. Elizabeth A Kennedy Mulvihill |
The Gala
festivities began with the popping of corks and the downbeat of
the sounds of Michael Arenella & his Dreamland Jazz Age
Orchestra trio to honor Dr. Mulvihill, a 21 year school
principal veteran and college professor. Aboard theManhattan
Elite yacht, sailing from the Westside to the Eastside,
under our glorious bridges and past Lady Liberty, they danced
and dined at sunset. |
Since
her return to Brooklyn from living on Long Island to the
riverfront in Williamsburg, Dr. Mulvihill has been active in the
National Arts Club, Open House New York, the Brooklyn Historical
Society, the Fresh Air Fund, and alumni societies. She also
continues to lecture regarding the education of handicapped
children, the use of volunteers in schools, and the teaching of
financial literacy and self reliance and self sufficiency to
students. |
But on
this night, they danced the night away.
